BNET-TECH

BNET-TECH Company Limited

Founded in Hong Kong in 2016 and based at Hong Kong Science Park, BNET-TECH is a social enterprise in gerontechnology. It builds care products such as the STICKu smart cane and the FADELiSY AI fall-detection system, and writes gerontech into STEAM lessons so students use design thinking and AI on real ageing problems.

Inside IGIA, BNET is the operator: year-round events, contests and study tours, and the matching of students with care homes, NGOs and firms. The line is “a competition is not the end.” The aim is to run Hong Kong’s gerontech venture-builder as a platform that lasts across years and borders.

Kokoromachi

Kokoromachi Co., Ltd.

A Japan-based partner in education and business, Kokoromachi is the bridge for Hong Kong–Japan innovation. It knows Japanese schools, companies and local networks, and handles Japanese versions of teaching materials, train-the-trainer localisation, and on-the-ground coordination of Innovate for Ageing in Japan.

For IGIA, Kokoromachi supplies PR in both cities, venues and judges in Japan, and cross-border study tours. It also helps mirror BNET’s alliance with the Golden Age Foundation onto Japanese municipalities and NGOs — so the same intergenerational model can move from Hong Kong to Japan, then toward Singapore.
